I can flex some arbitrary bitterness that makes me sound like an asshole (look at me) but the facts are on the table: WHIPPS is what it is. All these songs are about transvestites or distant drug habits or the Lindbergh Baby or whatever but their alienation effect is monstrous. Huff this guy up.

The motley crew of NAZI DUST and SLAVESCENE are going on tour this winter. If we don't beat the shit out of each other and/or force each other to the side of I-95, we'll see you in your well-fed, privileged coastal Northeastern town. Nazi Dust's debut record on Youth Attack will no doubt be a widowmaker--but it'll clean enough for the typical white male to back up on his favorite message board. Merchandise recorded this last year but it didn't get circulated as much as it should have. This is "well crafted" (whatever that means) post punk, which is a mild surprise from a place where any bands relatively close to that label are barhopping washed-up "mature" pricks. C. Cox of Lady Godiva's Operation fame is the purported band leader; DV from Cult Ritual and Pat Brady (of Publix fame) are his partners in grime.

It's kind of hard to pinpoint what this stuff sounds like, but at the same time too easy. I'll make it an egg hunt for you. My personal favorites are "Target" and "It's a Man's World." But that's one reporter's opinion.
